Finding Your Calling – Part 5: Your Boss

Do you hate what you do?

Are you unfulfilled at work?

Do you wish you could be doing something else?

Maybe you dislike your supervisor and think she is unfair.

Or maybe you’re a student and you’re convinced your professor is the worst teacher ever.

Maybe our interest and passion at work has dropped.

Maybe the person we’re working for makes it difficult for us.

But all that can change right now!

Read now and you will see a way for you to instantly change who you’re working for!

Yes! You, you, and even you, can replace your dead-end, harsh, unreasonable, unfair supervisor for an empowering, encouraging, and, most importantly, immensely rewarding one! buthow Just read now and you will discover this ancient secret!

Other supervisors can leave you unmotivated and bored. They can be very demanding with their performance and exacting with their specifications. They can also overlook some of your achievements and you don’t get the credit you deserve! That’s not fair! thatsright But this supervisor encourages, motivates, exhorts, and comforts in the most appropriate moments! And rewards every one of His workers! thatsalotofpeople The secret can be found in this ancient letter to the ancient city of Colossae. It reads,

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, Colossians 3:23

This not-so-secret principle tells us that we don’t need to work only for our current supervisors because there’s a greater Master that we already work for.*

Human supervisors can be boring and unfair. They might not see all the effort you put in to your work!

But God sees everything. Even the fact that you’re reading this blog now. (I hope it’s not on company time.)

If we only move when our human supervisors watch us, we can be lazy and tempted to slack off.

But when we know a divine supervisor watches us, we will be motivated to do our best no matter what the work!

BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE!

The ancient text continues,

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men,
since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Colossians 3:23-24

Not only does this divine supervisor motivate us to work hard and well, but He also promises to reward us for this!

Even if your human supervisors overlook you, discredit you, or stick you in a dead-end position, you don’t need to lose heart because you know that your reward comes from God Himself!

No human supervisor can stop that from happening! Now all this sounds too good to be true. howdoigetthis You’re in luck! Today there is a special offer on this benefit and many more! It’s free!** Simply believe that this is true and this and many more will be yours!*** justlikethat Yes! So, what are you waiting for? Don’t work another day in a life-sucking work environment. *We might still work for these human supervisors, but are motivated beyond them because we know God Himself supervises us. Standard rates and conditions apply.

**Offer is free to us. In actual amounts, it cost the life of the Son of God who paid the price of our sin and all its effects so we can have His holiness and all its benefits.

***Belief requires more than mental assent. It speaks of a change of life, of complete trust in Jesus, and entering a loving relationship with Him.

****The model, Jek Valle, would like to go on record to state that he is very happy in his place of work with both his divine and human supervisors.
